Katja is an extremely affectionate and totally devoted member of our

Several of Katja's puppies from previous litters are champions themselves and
others are beginning their careers now. "Sadie," Ch. Shomberg's Pride
'O Dakota JH, is not only a specialty winner like her dam but is also titled
as a Junior Hunter and is now training for her Master Hunter title as well.
Ch. Shomberg's Bugatti Royale completed his title with 4 major wins, handled
by professional handler, Tina Parker-Craig and finished his championship with
his owner winning those last 2 points.
"Donner," a solid liver male has just picked up his majors in one
weekend of showing in pursuit of his AKC title. These and the other youngsters
have all become wonderful family members and are loved by children
and adults alike.
Another Katja daughter on her way to her championship is Shomberg's Celestial DeLivery, aka "Faith", from Katja's litter of April, 2004. This striking, young solid liver bitch has been owner-handled to all of her points thus far by her owner John Tierney of NY. John and Anne Marie have quite a lovely youngster on their hands who always shows as if she is the best dog in the ring and a judge wouldn't dare dispute that fact. She has ATTITUDE with a capital "A".
She will finish easily and her winning style is outmatched only by her winning personality and zest for life. Several of her siblings just entering the show ring will undoubtedly follow in her footsteps.
Katja has a 4-point major specialty win to her credit
and is a Specialty winner, though she has already proven that her most valuable contribution
to date has been to our family and to her breed with the puppies she has produced. She is
a full sister to Ch. Shomberg's Browning
Citori and an exceptional dog in her own right. She is sweet, loyal, smart and
structurally well balanced and sound. She has all of the traits so desirable in
this breed and we are fortunate to have the opportunity to enjoy yet
another outstanding litter from her breeding to "Spirit."

Spirit continues the highly respected traditions at Robin Crest Kennels in CA for having
beautiful, sound, structurally correct shorthairs that have outstanding abilities
that balance superb temperaments. The Remondi family and Robin Crest Kennels (formerly
of New York) have a stellar reputation for producing beautiful dogs that are
exceptional in the show ring as well as in the field and in family homes. Multiple
Best In Show winners have been their trademark for over 50 years and Spirit is a
young dog that continues to bring recognition that follows in the
paw prints of his ancestors.
He is the GSPCA Show Sire Of The Year for 2004 and narrowly missed Hunt Test Sire
Of The Year by only 3 points. Having already produced Junior, Senior and Master
Hunters as a sire this lovely young male will himself be going for his Master
Hunter title in the Fall of 2005.
He is biddable, easily trained and exceptionally talented in his fieldwork as
well as being a strong competitor in the show ring and a beloved
family member at home. His personality is well-mannered, easy-going and truly
exceptional as he shares his home with several other dogs and everyone lives
in harmony.
Robin Remondi, Spirit's "mom" has always exhibited her dogs with
great success as well as being a respected and conscientious breeder in her own
right. Health certifications are a priority and Robin takes control of her
dogs and their ability to pass on great genes that continue to produce healthy
dogs generation after generation. Her love for her dogs and the breed is
without question and it is evidenced in every manner of activity she shares with
her dogs and her friends in the breed.
We are extremely excited and feel very fortunate to look forward to this
breeding that combines two outstanding pedigrees in the Shorthair world. We
know that the families that are chosen to provide homes for these puppies
will be rewarded in knowing the great care that has gone into producing these
lovely pups who will bring love, happiness and much joy into their lives
just as Katja and Sprit have brought to us and to the Remondi family. Our
appreciation is extended to Robin and her family in assisting us to bring this
breeding to fruition and our hope is that we continue to bring pride to the
breed we love so very much.
